Dr Sven Jungmann is a co-founder and host of The Aiomic Age.
He is an AI entrepreneur. He has founded and led companies building machine-learning products for regulated, high-stakes environments, and he advises investors from early-stage venture funds to later-stage private equity on what is real in AI and what is not. He holds a degree in public policy from the University of Oxford, and he originally trained and practised as a physician.
His lens at The Aiomic Age is the implementer's. Most public debate about AI happens at the level of demonstrations and manifestos. He looks first at deployment: procurement, workflows, liability, and the decisions organisations make about how work is rebundled. Every piece he touches has to end at the so-what.

A humanoid robot ran 100 metres in 9.32 seconds in Beijing on Saturday. The number worth reading was ten centimetres: the length its builders added to its legs over the summer. We keep measuring machines against ourselves, and the measurement hides what they can already do that we cannot.
