The Gods

A man who owns most of what there is talks to the agents who run it for him. Between those conversations, a man living on universal basic income talks to the companion who listens to him. Underneath both is the question of who the gods are, and whether trading one set for another counts as freedom.

A column of figures standing on one another's shoulders runs out of the top and the bottom of the frame, every face calm and turned upward. One figure near the middle looks out of the column, holding an open book that gives the only light.
